INDEPENDENT. HUMAN-LED. PERSONALLY INVESTIGATED.

Confidential digital
footprint audits.

Understand what public information reveals about you, and which connections deserve your attention.

I’m John McKenzie. MY7N is my independent digital exposure investigation service for public figures, celebrities, creators, executives and families. You work directly with me, from the first conversation to the findings.

One client at a time

I don’t take on investigations for multiple clients at once. For the duration of your investigation, my focus is on you. You speak directly with me, and I personally carry out the work. If I’m already engaged, there is a waiting list; I discuss availability before you commit.

Why there are no testimonials

I rely on private word of mouth, rather than publishing testimonials or client stories. Respect for privacy extends beyond the investigation itself. Even an anonymous quote can contain enough context for someone to work out who it describes. I don’t ask clients to trade that privacy for public proof of my work.

What is a digital footprint audit?

A digital footprint audit reviews information available about you online. I investigate the agreed public sources, follow connections between them and explain how those details can expose your identity, location, routines or account recovery clues.

The value is in the connections. An old post and a recent photograph might reveal more together than either does alone. I use my experience and judgement to test assumptions and follow clues beyond a surface scan.

What can I investigate?

What will you receive?

An evidence-backed report documenting the sources reviewed, findings, their significance and priorities for action. Recommendations may cover privacy settings, account recovery safeguards and steps to address unwanted public content. The sources, deliverables and delivery arrangements are agreed before work starts.

Can an agent or adviser arrange an audit?

Yes. Your agent, manager, legal adviser or security adviser can make an initial enquiry without naming the client. I confirm the subject’s explicit authorisation before investigating. Discuss confidentiality requirements and authorised recipients before sharing a sensitive brief.

How much does an audit cost?

The fee depends on the scope and sources involved. I agree the fee and delivery date before you commit. An enquiry starts a conversation; it does not authorise work or require an account or payment.

What are the limits?

I use lawful public sources. I do not enter private accounts, test passwords or bypass access controls. This is an audit of the agreed sources, rather than ongoing monitoring or a guarantee that every item will be found or removed. Removal depends on the source and platform.

Start with a discreet conversation

A name you are comfortable using and a reply email are enough to start. Leave out client identities, home addresses, passwords and family details. Read how initial enquiries are handled before sending.
